MAXIM Technology
If parts of a PV module are shaded, this leads to a reduction in the output of the entire module or string. Integrated power optimizers can be used to counteract these power losses. In the MAXIM module, the conventional bypass diodes are replaced by intelligent MAXIM optimizers. The shaded cell string, is bypassed so no negative impact on the remaining serial connection remains is bypassed up to 10% more yield can be generated.
