MAXIM Technology
If part of a PV module is shaded, the output of the whole module or string drops. Integrated power optimisers can compensate for these losses. In the MAXIM module, conventional bypass diodes are replaced with smart MAXIM optimisers. The shaded cell string is bypassed so that the rest of the series connection is not affected, and up to 10% more yield can be produced.
