The Steca Solsum 2525 and 4040 solar charge controllers are a further development of our globally popular Solarix PRS controller family. Thanks to higher module and load currents, they are now also suitable for larger systems. The units also have an integrated USB charging socket for charging smartphones and tablets. They offer impressive simplicity, performance and unbeatable value for money.
Several LEDs in different colours show the battery state of charge at a glance. Modern Steca algorithms ensure optimal battery care. Steca Solsum charge controllers have an electronic fuse that offers ideal protection. They work on the series principle and separate the solar module from the battery to protect against overcharging.
For larger projects the charge controllers can also be fitted with special functions, such as a night light function and selectable end-of-charge and deep discharge protection voltages.
